"Electrolysis is FDA-approved for permanent hair removal and it provides permanent hair removal. Electrolysis uses a super-fine needle inserted into each hair follicle to send an electric current that kills the hair follicle. The session can be time-consuming and one needs to be patient and tolerant of pain "

About the treatment

An FDA-approved method, Electrolysis results in eliminating hairs from the face. During the procedure, the professional electrologist inserts a very fine needle (usually thinner than the hair) into the natural opening of the hair follicle alongside the hair shaft. A small charge of electrical current is then applied to destroy the hair growth cells. Each hair is individually attended to. The procedure is effectively used in smaller areas on the face like the chin, upper lips, and eyebrows.
