Braces are the traditional way to straighten teeth, improve their appearance and the overall dental health. There are several versions of braces available, including metal, ceramic, lingual or lingual. Through a treatment process called bone remodelling, braces can apply constant and gentle pressure against the teeth to encourage bones to begin adapting and ultimately holding teeth in their new alignment. Bone remodelling is an effective treatment method that works through the use of brackets, which align teeth into the right position. Regular braces use gentle pressure to move the teeth into its right place over time. The concerned orthodontist or aesthetic expert will glue brackets to the front of the teeth and connect them through a wire. The braces will require tightening after every 4 to 6 weeks. This slowly moves the teeth or jaw or both into place.
