About the treatment

A body lift is a surgical procedure which is similar to a facelift, wherein the skin is smoothed and tightened. The underlying tissues too are attended to and unwanted fat is eliminated. Although a body lift may be performed for a variety of reasons, the most common is to improve the body shape and contour after significant weight loss like post-pregnancy, post-liposuction or when the skin has lost its elasticity and is unable to bounce back on its own due to varied reasons. A Body lift is performed for various parts of the bodies’ namely buttocks, thighs, arms, and chest. The suitability of treatment and procedure may differ for different parts of the body and the medical practitioner can guide and suggest for the same. A Lower Body Lift includes like a tummy tuck, thigh lift, butt lift.  For women, the Upper Body Lift includes arm lift and a breast lift. These procedures result in uplifting the body and removing excess skin from the area.
