A Hair Transplant is the guaranteed method of reinstating hair on balding areas of the head. Hair Transplants, which are also known as Hair Implantations, involve taking hair from another part of the scalp, (usually the back of the head where hair loss does not occur), and implanting the hair follicles on the balding part of the head, say the top of the crown region. The hair follicles can be grafted from a strip of hair and skin from the back of the head or taking individual follicles of hair. A Hair Transplant necessitates grafts ranging from few hundred to as many as few thousands, this depends on the area to be treated. Even though a Hair Transplant is referred to as surgery, it is considered a non-surgical procedure as only a local anaesthetic is applied or injected to numb the area and the client can go home in a few hours itself.
