Biocorneum is an FDA approved a fast-drying silicone gel scar treatment with SPF 30. It decreases the appearance of old scars and protects scars from sun exposure darkening effects. It is ideal for face, neck, chest hands and other areas exposed to the sun.

About the treatment

Biocorneum is used to treat raised scars or keloids. It can be used to prevent the formation of scars and reduce the appearance of older scars. Scars that have formed due to physical trauma, cosmetic or surgical treatments, wounds and burns can find an effective reduction solution in Biocorneum. The cream can be applied on the area to be treated, it dries up and adheres to the skin for upto 12 or 24 hours. One may begin to see results in two months although the minimum treatment time recommended is 90 days. It is also meant to protect the scar from the sun’s darkening effects.

I recently had surgery and was excited . My doctor recommended I start using this scar cream immediately and when I received it there was nothing inside of the tube. I pumped it over 100 times, uncomfortably as I waited to put my bandages on and NOTHING came out. I am so disappointed.

Excellent value, and the BEST scar

Excellent value, and the BEST scar cream on the market. Have used it for three past surgeries, and now using for partial knee replacement. You don't need to use much, highly concentrated, so will last me quite a long time.

This really works on post-surgery scars! My plastic surgeon recommended it because my scars were not healing flat. The scars flattened in about 2 weeks or even less. The next time I went to the PS he even noticed the difference
