Some people are starting with high

Some people are starting with high numbers but you really shouldn't. I've been derma rolling for a few years now and didn't believe the talk about potential problems, but I also don't feel a higher/huge needle is necessary. I'm happy at .75, I wouldn't go over 1mm. I also used to do it more often but cut it down. The higher the number/longer the needle, the less frequently you should roll, so your skin can repair. I think some people are doing it too often, which there's supposedly risk of permenantly over toughening the skin so please be careful

I've been using a 1.0 mm

I've been using a 1.0 mm roller. I follow it up with a Cosmedica hyaluronic acid serum, or sometimes with Andalou Naturals Enlighten Serum and plenty of moisturizer once that dries. I do it every 4-6 weeks, sometimes longer if I'm procrastinating. The results from this are very, very gradual and therefore hard to be sure of.
