About the treatment

An ageing and sagging skin can lower the confidence that one has about his/her looks. But these symptoms of ageing are inevitable even though they are undesirable. HIFU has made it possible to tighten and lift skin by heating and stimulating existing collagen fibres. When existing collagen fibres are heated they thicken which leads to a long term result. HIFU also stimulates new dermal collagen production. By stimulating dermal collagen production, youthful appearance can be regained. A slimmer jawline and a reduced double chin are possible over multiple sessions of this procedure. It is also helpful for lifting and shaping the neck.

I could do, essentially anything I wanted to do within 2 to 3 days of the surgery. There wasn't a lot of pain involved, the most uncomfortable thing I think, was the catheter.
