About the treatment

When I hit 28, I started

When I hit 28, I started noticing lines on my forehead. I had a very stressful job and frequently worked 13 hour days. The long hours took a toll on me and caused me to start aging rapidly. What I thought I would never consider -- Botox -- I determined I needed. I am a big fan of Botox now. My first treatment made me a believer. It has smoothed out my forehead lines and I have had no side effects from my injections. When the Botox first started working it was a little bit weird (your muscle start to freeze all of a sudden) but now I love that feeling. I think I've even convinced my mom to give a try. I guess we shall see.

I began getting Botox a year

I began getting Botox a year ago. I wanted to get rid of the lines on my forehead that appeared when I raised my eyebrows and the wrinkles around my eyes that appeared when I smiled. My botox injections were done all over my forehead, around my crow’s feet and in my frown lines with a tiny needle that only hurt on about a 2 out of 10 scale. I had very little swelling and bruising at the injection sites too.It took about a week for me to see results, which were absolutely no wrinkling on my forehead when I moved my brows and very limited wrinkling around my eyes and frown lines. The Botox did make my eyes appear smaller because my eyebrows lowered a bit.
